IBT Controls secure integrated solution to Sony’s HQ

Following the successful delivery of the base build at the Brunel Building, we are proud to announce we have secured the fit out of 4 floors for the prestigious client Sony Pictures. Working with the main contractor 21Construction and their M&E contractor Mala , IBT shall be installing a Schneider EcoStruxure BEMS solution integrating KNX for the lighting controls and HVAC field devices. Utilising a common bus solution for all field devices will allow all electrical and thermal energy to be controlled via a demand based strategy, reducing energy usage by up to 35% against a traditional BMS.

To meet the Sony specification IBT are required to take all critical points and energy information into the Lucid BuildingOS, to allow the facilities team to monitor the performance of the building against stringent KPI’s.
