IBT Controls awarded landmark Manchester project.

BIG news from IBT Controls this week. We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the contract to provide BMS controls to the new Manchester Engineering Campus Development buildings for the University of Manchester.

With the contract being awarded by NG Bailey, the MECD buildings are part of a £400m investment into the campus and will allow over 6500 students and 1200 staff members to work and study in state of the art environments.

Providing energy and automation solutions to one of the single largest construction projects undertaken by any higher education institution in the UK is something we here at IBT Controls are excited and proud to be involved in.

Having developed the system design over two years and having been through a rigorous selection procedure that enabled us to demonstrate and prove our capabilities in delivering schemes of this nature and required a demonstration of detailed design and delivery knowledge is testament to the ever growing team here at IBT Controls.

Tridium controllers utilising the Niagara 4 framework make up a large part of the project delivery and integration requirements and will allow us to demonstrate our extensive knowledge of this platform.

The contract award continues the significant growth in the IBT Controls secured order book and has allowed is to invest in employment of locally sourced labour for a number of roles relating to project delivery.
