Continuing the long history of utilising KNX for their lighting management needs, Heathrow requested that their new Airside Operations Facility utilise the latest ABB gateway and Tridium N4 graphical interface and monitoring package.

Our system consists of addressable lighting, achieved via presence / absence detection with constant lighting control, light sensors, and pushbutton interfaces across the building.

For this project, we also offered complex web-based Head End functionality featuring management and scheduling of DALI Lighting, fault monitoring of DALI controlled lighting, bespoke building visualisation of controlled elements and manual override. In addition to these features, we also provided automated emergency light testing via our bespoke Tridium module.

Utilising the Tridium platform further allowed the Airport to continue to centralise their lighting operations using web based and open technologies.
